Chennai: Chief Minister Jayalalithaa wants the Centre to name Domestic Terminal II of the Chennai Airport after the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam founder and former Chief Minister M.G. Ramachandran.
In a letter to the Civil Aviation Minister, Ajit Singh, Ms. Jayalalithaa has stated that it will be most fitting if the new domestic terminal is named after “MGR, who was one of the most illustrious, charismatic and popular Chief Ministers of Tamil Nadu.”
